Five layers. No rattle.
Scroll and the stack comes apart, then closes again. Two foams float the board, so every key lands on something soft.
| Item | Part | Material | Qty |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Keycaps | Doubleshot PBT | 84 |
| 2 | Plate | Aluminium, 1.5 mm | 1 |
| 3 | Board | Hot-swap PCB, 5-pin | 1 |
| 4 | Foam | Poron, 3.5 mm | 1 |
| 5 | Case | 6063 Al, bead-blasted | 1 |
Turn it over. Go on.
Grab the plate and throw it. A brass badge at the back, USB-C on the left, and 6.5° built into the case, so there are no feet to flip out.
Close up, it still holds.
Note C
The legends are a second plastic, moulded through the cap. They cannot wear off, and the PBT keeps its grain instead of turning shiny.
Note D
Engraved brass, set flush into the case. The coiled cable comes in the box, in the same orange as Escape.

Press it. Watch the rig.
Hold the key below, or any key on your own keyboard, and the test rig plots it. Lubed by hand before they ship, so the curve stays clean.

General notes
1 Will it work with my computer?
Yes, with anything that takes a USB keyboard. A switch on the back swaps the two bottom-left modifiers for the other common layout.
2 Can I change the switches?
Yes. The sockets take any 3- or 5-pin MX-style switch. Pull, push, done; no soldering.
3 How loud is it?
Low and soft. The two foams take out the ring, and the stabilisers are tuned so the spacebar does not rattle.
4 What is the warranty?
Two years on the case and board. Keycaps and switches are parts you are meant to change, so they are sold separately.
5 Is this a real product?
No. Fennick Works and the Kesten 75 are fictional. This page is a template by Inazda; the renders are ours.
